Students will participate in active learning by creating their own interpretations of history using historical documents. They will learn to make observations, generate questions, organize information and ideas, think analytically, write persuasively or informatively, and cite evidence to support their opinion, hypotheses, and conclusions. Each pack contains more than 20 historical documents including photos, maps, paintings, newspaper clippings, telegrams, lithographs, diagrams and letters in a mix of color, black-and-white, and sepia finishes, all printed on sturdy 8 1⁄2" x 11" cardstock.
